THE Tenths of Excellence, Lda, hereinafter referred to as “D'EXCELÊNCIA”, with registered office at R. Southern Regional Broadcasting, Block D, Store 3, 8000-338 Faro processes the personal data of its employees, staff, candidates, service providers, customers and suppliers in strict compliance with the privacy and personal data protection rules contained in the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), approved by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.
This Privacy Policy aims to inform the form and purposes of the processing, for how long the data will be kept, as well as to make known the rights of data subjects and the ways to contact D'EXCELÊNCIA.
Data Controller
D'EXCELÊNCIA is responsible for the processing of personal data, as it is the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing the personal data of its employees, collaborators, candidates, suppliers, customers and service providers.
Types of Personal Data Processed
On the D'EXCELÊNCIA website we only collect the identification data necessary to contact you, namely, name, email and telephone number.
For application purposes, we will collect your Curriculum Vitae and all other documents containing personal data sent by you.
Purposes of Personal Data Processing and Legal Basis
When you contact us via the email address provided on our website, D'EXCELÊNCIA collects your personal data and processes it solely for the purpose of responding to your questions, requests or providing you with the information requested by you. The legal basis for processing your data is the execution of a contract or pre-contractual steps at the request of the data subject, as well as legitimate interest.
If you subscribe to the D'EXCELÊNCIA newsletter, by email or through our website, the personal data you provide will be processed solely for the purpose of D'EXCELÊNCIA sending you the newsletter. The legal basis for processing your data is based on your consent.
If you submit an application to work with D'EXCELÊNCIA by email or through our website, your personal data will be collected by D'EXCELÊNCIA and processed for the purposes of the recruitment process. The legal basis for processing your data is for the purposes of pre-contractual due diligence at the request of the data subject and in the legitimate interest of D'EXCELÊNCIA. Retention of Personal Data
Our policy is to retain personal data only for the period necessary for the purposes for which the data is processed.
Personal data (name, email and telephone number) processed for the purposes of responding to requests for information and sending the newsletter will be kept if there is no further contact by the data subject or the company does not become a customer, and the data will not be shared with third parties.
Personal data of job applicants held for the purposes of future applications will be retained for four years.
Personal data for the purposes of assistance requests will be kept for the entire period in which the company is a D'EXCELÊNCIA client, respecting the guarantees of secrecy and confidentiality recommended by the GDPR.
Transmission of your Personal Data
D'EXCELÊNCIA does not transmit your personal data to third parties, except in cases where this is necessary for the provision of services by D'EXCELÊNCIA, namely to providers of IT, technical and operational support services, or when it is necessary to comply with legal obligations to which D'EXCELÊNCIA is subject.

At any time, data subjects have the right to request:
1. Access to your personal data
The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not data concerning him or her are being processed and, where this is the case, to access his or her personal data and access the information provided for in the GDPR.
2. Rectification of your inaccurate personal data
The data subject has the right to obtain from D'EXCELÊNCIA the rectification of his/her inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
3. Erasure of your personal data (“Right to be Forgotten”)
The data subject has the right to request D'EXCELÊNCIA to erase their personal data contained in D'EXCELÊNCIA's records, and D'EXCELÊNCIA is obliged to erase personal data when one of the following reasons applies:
- The personal data are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected or processed;
- The data subject has withdrawn his/her consent to the processing of personal data (in cases where the processing is based on consent) and there is no other legal basis for such processing;
- The data subject objects to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate interests that justify the processing;
- The personal data was processed unlawfully.
4. Objection to the processing of your personal data
In cases where the processing of personal data is carried out for the purposes of D'EXCELÊNCIA's legitimate interests or for the purposes of direct marketing or profiling, the data subject has the right to object at any time to the processing of his/her personal data.
5. If the processing depends on your consent, you have the right to withdraw it
If consent is legally necessary for the processing of personal data, the data subject has the right to withdraw consent at any time, although this right does not compromise the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on the consent previously given nor the subsequent processing of the same data, based on another legal basis, such as compliance with the contract, the legal obligation to which D'EXCELÊNCIA is subject or the legitimate interest of D'EXCELÊNCIA.

D'EXCELÊNCIA has implemented technical and organizational measures with the aim of ensuring the protection of personal data and preventing security breaches and access by unauthorized persons to personal data, as well as their accidental or unlawful destruction, loss and alteration.
D'EXCELÊNCIA respects the confidentiality of your information. Consequently, it does not sell or in any way commercially make the information available to any third party. D'EXCELÊNCIA undertakes to keep your information confidential in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable legislation. D'EXCELÊNCIA requires all its employees and collaborators to maintain confidentiality regarding any personal information to which they have access. It should be noted that only authorized employees and collaborators have access to personal information.
